About the role
FinlandWay® Schools, a rapidly growing Finnish education export startup, is looking for an international Head of Business Development to lead our global expansion efforts with a particular focus on driving growth in the MENA region. As we scale operations in high-potential markets worldwide, we seek a driven, experienced professional with over 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or digital marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, a hands-on approach, and the ability to take ownership of sales performance.
In this key role, you will drive revenue growth, spearhead new market entries, and forge strong relationships with clients globally with a primary focus on the Middle East and North Africa. You will play a pivotal role in executing and refining our marketing strategy to support business objectives.

The key responsibilities of the role will involve:
- Lead outbound and inbound sales development efforts: Identify and target high-potential markets, build and manage a pipeline, and close deals to accelerate growth.
- Develop and execute sales strategies: Align efforts with company goals and market trends to ensure sustained growth and scalability.
- Build and strengthen client relationships: Cultivate long-term partnerships with key stakeholders in diverse regions.
- Support digital marketing initiatives: Collaborate with the marketing team to drive lead generation and customer engagement through digital channels.
- Monitor and report on sales performance: Take full responsibility for tracking progress, setting KPIs, and delivering results.
Location and benefits:

Requirements and applying for the post:
- 10+ years of experience in commercial operations, sales, and/or digital marketing.
- Degree in business, management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth in international markets.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong cultural awareness and adaptability.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
Start Date: January 1st/ to be agreed with the candidate.
